The Cheshire & North Wales Food & Drink Festival returns this Easter weekend with a packed programme celebrating the people, produce and creativity that define the region’s food scene, with our very own Chef Aiden Byrne delivering a live chef demonstration on Sunday 5th April at 12pm.

Aiden is looking forward to taking to the stage at the festival, highlighting how important it is to work with ingredients that reflect the landscape they come from. For him, cooking with locally sourced, seasonal produce is about more than flavour – it’s about connection, sustainability, and celebrating the communities that grow and supply our food.
He’ll be cooking live using ingredients that showcase the best of the region, offering insight into how thoughtful sourcing and simple, confident techniques can turn great produce into memorable dishes, reflecting a seasonal approach rooted in respect for ingredients and the belief that local food has the power to bring people together..
Beyond the chef demos, the festival delivers a full weekend experience for all ages. Visitors can explore a vibrant mix of artisan food and drink vendors, discover local producers, and enjoy a wide range of street food celebrating regional flavours. Interactive cooking classes offer hands-on learning, while a dedicated programme of kids’ activities makes it a family-friendly day out during the Easter holidays.
More than just an event, the Cheshire & North Wales Food & Drink Festival plays an important role in supporting local businesses, championing regional produce, and spotlighting the talent that continues to put the North firmly on the UK’s food map.
