LI~LY Proudly Supports “Let’s Paint Knutsford Yellow”At LI~LY, we have always set out to be a true part of the local community, supporting the town, the people around us, and the causes that matter most. So this June, we are incredibly privileged to be supporting the wonderful charity initiative led by our neighbours Peter & Melanie at Pulse of Perfumery, “Let’s Paint Knutsford Yellow” a campaign raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a life-limiting genetic condition that affects more than 10,800 people in the UK.
Peter sadly lost his daughter Danielle at just 18 years old to CF. In her memory, and following the incredible support shown in 2017, Peter is once again bringing the community together to “Paint the Town Yellow.”

We love supporting our local community and are honoured to be taking part in something so meaningful for our friends over at Pulse of Perfumery. We’re looking forward to seeing Knutsford turn yellow and and we’ve got our yellow bows at the ready!”
We are proud to stand alongside so many local businesses coming together in support of such an important cause.
The campaign will begin on 15th June, with the ambition of filling Knutsford with 5,000 yellow balloons. On 18th June, the town will be encouraged to wear something yellow in support. Collection buckets will also be placed around the town to raise funds for the cause, and LI~LY are delighted to be taking part in this year’s campaign.
The week will culminate in a fantastic celebration – The Yellow Bow Tie Ball – where all guests are encouraged to wear their best outfits and, of course, a yellow bow tie! Held at Toft Cricket Club, just five minutes from the town centre, the evening will bring the community together for a glamorous night of dining, dancing, and fundraising from 7pm until midnight on Thursday 18th June.
As part of the prize auction for the evening, we will be donating a four-course lunch at LI~LY Restaurant and an afternoon experience at Pulse of Perfumery.
Guests will enjoy a welcome drink with delicious canapés, followed by a sit-down main course dinner, dessert, and coffee, with wine on the tables from Morgan Edwards to get the party started. The evening will also feature a live band, dancing, and both silent and live auctions with incredible prizes generously donated by local businesses, all in support of cystic fibrosis research and care.
Every balloon, every bow tie, and every splash of yellow helps bring hope to those living with cystic fibrosis.
